Batman of the Future: Return of the Joker (Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker) on vuonna 2000 ensi-iltansa saanut animaatioelokuva. Elokuva on osa Batman of the Future-animaatiosarjan tarinaa ja on samalla kolmas DC-animaatiouniversumin elokuva. Sen ohjasi Curt Geda ja pääosassa esiintyivät Will Friedle, Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Angie Harmon ja Melissa Joan Hart. Elokuva voitti yhteensä kolme palkintoa ja sai viisi ehdokkuutta vuonna 2001.
Juoni
Bruce Wayne saa kokea yllätyksen, kun Jokeri ilmestyy paikalle 40 vuoden tauon jälkeen, ja hän tietää kaiken Brucesta ja hänen menneisyydestään. Uusi Batman, Terry saa pikkuhiljaa selville tarinan alkuperäisen Batmanin viimeisestä ja kohtalokkaasta kohtaamisesta Jokerin kanssa, jossa Tim Drake (alias Robin) oli osallisena. Bruce ei enää halua Terryn olevan Batmanina, mutta kun Jokeri iskee lähes kohtalokkain seurauksin Brucen kimppuun, Terry ottaa roolinsa Batmanina takaisin ja lähtee tutkimaan Jokerin todellista henkilöllisyyttä.
