Lycaste Lindl. 1843 è un genere di piante della famiglia delle Orchidacee.^[1]

Descrizione

Il genere comprende specie per lo più epifite, in piccola parte terrestri o litofite, provviste di pseudobulbi dai cui apici si sviluppano le foglie per lo più lanceolate e con evidenti nervature.

Distribuzione e habitat

Il genere ha un areale neotropicale.^[2]
