Michael Ruse

Michael Ruse (Birmingham, 21 giugno 1940) è un filosofo della scienza britannico.

Le sue aree di specializzazione sono la filosofia della biologia e l'interazione tra scienza e religione.

Autore prolifico, ha pubblicato diversi libri e articoli per prestigiose case editrici universitarie. Ha fondato la rivista Biology and Philosophy.^[1][2]

Attualmente Ruse è professore di filosofia presso la Florida State University. Ruse è noto per il suo ruolo nel dibattito tra creazionismo ed evoluzione darwiniana negli Stati Uniti. Ruse si definisce ateo e agnostico.
