Twilight of the Thunder God

Twilight of the Thunder God è il settimo album in studio del gruppo musicale svedese Amon Amarth, pubblicato il 19 settembre 2008 dalla Metal Blade Records.

È stato il primo album della band ad ottenere un piazzamento nella Billboard 200, alla cinquantesima posizione. La traccia Varyags of Miklagaard è dedicata alle guardie variaghe di Costantinopoli, mentre l'album, in generale, risalta la mitologia norrena.

L'album uscì anche in digipack con l'aggiunta di un DVD bonus contenente l'esibizione dal vivo che la band tenne al Summer Breeze Open Air del 2007.^[1] La stessa versione è stata ripubblicata nel 2010 dalla Icarus Musica, una label argentina specializzata nella ristampa di album metal.
