42nd Street je američki filmski mjuzikl snimljen 1933. u režiji Lloyda Bacona, poznat po koreografiji Busbyja Berkeleya. Pjesme korištene u filmu je komponirao Harry Warren, tekst za njih napisao Al Dubin . Scenario su napisali Rian James, James Seymour i Whitney Bolton (van špice) na temelju romana Bradforda Ropesa. Radnja je smještena u brodvejsko kazalište čije osoblje, suočeno s financijskim problemima izazvanim Velikom depresijom, planira spektakularnu predstavu koja bi ih, ako uspije, trebala izbaviti iz nevolja.
42nd Street je sa svojom uspješnom kombinacijom tada aktualne socijalne problematike i eskapističkog glamura pogodio ukus tadašnje publike i doživio veliki uspjeh. Sljedeće je godine bio nominiran za Oscara. Smatra se jednim od najboljih mjuzikala u historiji klasičnog Hollywooda, a taj status mu je službeno priznat 1998. kada je ušao u Nacionalni filmski registar Kongresne biblioteke. Godine 2006. je došao na 13. mjesto AFI-jevog popisa najboljih mjuzikala.
