La Rivière du hibou (sh. Sovina rijeka^[1]) je francuski kratki crno-bijeli igrani film snimljen 1962. godine u režiji Roberta Enricoa. Predstavlja adaptaciju novele An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge američkog pisca Ambrosea Biercea. Protagonist je neimovani južnjaćki špijun (koga tumači Roger Jacquet) koji za vrijeme građanskog rata prilikom pokušaja sabotaže željezničkog mosta bude uhvaćen od sjevernjačke vojske i osuđen na smrt vješanjem; radnja prikazuje kako tom prilikom puca konopac, on pada u rijeku i koristi priliku da pobjegne svojoj supruzi.

Film je premijerno prikazan na Kanskom festivalu gdje je dobio Zlatnu palmu za najbolji kratki film. Nekoliko godina kasnije je prikazan u SAD, a 28. februara 1964. kao epizoda američke TV antologije Zona sumraka. Nedugo potom je na 36. dodjeli Oscara osvojio Oscar za najbolji kratki film, postavši prvi film koji je osvojio jedan od Oscara nakon što je prethodno bio prikazan na televiziji.
